in the late 1800s (ca. 1874), Degas created this very pretty work, one of many in which dancers at rehearsal were depicted. There are multiple versions of this particular piece, as well. Degas was very talented. He created this work in such a way, that it really seems like a light was shining on the dancers as they carried out their dress rehearsal. Buy as is or add anywhere.
