72 Microseasons of Japan Seasons Wheel Poster ポスター

In Japan, the year is not divided into four seasons, but into seventy-two. This minimalist poster shows all 72 Japanese microseasons in one calm wheel, with each original Japanese name and a short English translation, grouped by the 24 solar terms and the four seasons. The year begins at the top with Risshun, the beginning of spring, in early February. No dates are printed, so it stays beautiful year after year. Designed in Japan by a Japanese creator who has seen sixty springs. Illustration created with the help of AI image tools and finished by the artist.
