Ancient Greek Vases - Sport Tシャツ

Ancient Greek art has survived thousands of years in the form of red-figure and black-figure vase paintings. These vases, in many different shapes and sizes, were for storage and serving water, oil and wines. The paintings illustrated life in the ancient Greek world, including sport in its many different forms. Panathenaic Amphora were prizes that were given to champions at the ancient Olympic Games. These large, heavy ceramics were filled with valuable oil. Today we can see the art illustrating runners, wrestlers, boxers, athletes training and more. I have selected designs that illustrate various sports.
