Canada Geese Over Foggy Frozen River. These geese are coming in to roost on the freezing South Saskatchewan River after the evening feed on the wheat fields that are on the high ground around the river. Most of the waterfowl goes south in the winter where I live but some hardy ducks and several hundred geese winter here on the open water created by the warmed water flowing out of the power plant.
