Barrowlands Ballroom Poster ポスター

The Barrowlands is one of the most famous landmarks in Glasgow and has been around since the 1930's and the original building was opened in 1934. The front of the building is decorated by a distinctive animated neon sign and is famous not just in Scotland but all over the world. The Barrowlands building was originally the leading dancehall in the whole of Scotland and still stands to this day and the sign still exists. Nowdays the ballroom part of the building is used for live gigs and has hosted many great acts over the years, many bands who have performed there have always enjoyed their experience and many of the biggest artists have started out playing in the Barrolands Ballroom or "the barras" as known to the locals. I myself have been to a few gigs there and its always been my favorite small venue for gigs and many of my friends and family have also been to gigs there and hopefully still will for a long time to come! So here it is the Barrowlands neon sign on a poster! I take full credit for this and it was a good few hours slog to complete it but worth every second and as soon as I have the cash I wiill be buying one for myself too. I will also be putting it on a few other carefully chosen items. The Barrowlands neon sign is the ultimate souvenir of Scotland for all ages from far and wide and is sure to jog a few memories. I actually feel quite emotional now and very proud to be not just a Scot but a Glaswegian too!!
