Floral Library, Garden, Ladybird, Celebrate 250 ポストカード

The Floral Library or Tulip Library is a 93 bed garden inspired by Lady Bird Johnson who founded the Society for a More Beautiful National Capital which included the planting of flowers. In the spring the beds are filled with tulips and are later replaced with annuals like the yellow marigolds in the foreground. A faint silhouette of the Washington Monument can be seen in the distance under a bright blue sky.
