From thinking to awareness カード

My identification with thoughts by Edinburgh artist Mike Heseltine. When I enter a cathedral, I like to play a game with myself. I watch to see if the architecture or the spirituality of the place dominates my feelings. I have recently realised that what I have been doing is moving my sense of being from an identity immersed in thought, to an awareness of thought. I have become a presence witnessing my thoughts. This simple shift brings me into the present moment. The joy was never about the cathedral, but about moving from thinking to awareness.
