Blueprint art of the early twentieth century merchant ship often represented as the romantic tramp steamer. Also commonly referred to as the three island steamer, the Great Lakes freighter Lake Fernando was built by the Buffalo Drydock Company in Buffalo, New York near the end of the First World War. She went on to see service till 1940, when she was lost with 12 of her crew.
