Liberty’s Tea Time Delight! エプロン

I just finished a new painting called Liberty's Tea Time Delight! It's a playful nod to America's 250th birthday, wrapped up in a vibrant still life scene. Picture a delicate blue and white "Liberty" Staffordshire tea set from the Bicentennial era, sitting on a lace-covered table embroidered with "1776," "AMERICA," and "2026." There's a teapot, a pitcher bursting with red roses, and a plate holding a slice of tea cake dotted with blueberries and cherries. Three cheeky Mountain Bluebirds have clearly gotten into the fun-stealing cherries and swooping off with miniature American flags from the tea biscuits. In the background, fireworks light up the night sky behind the Statue of Liberty, marking a joyful celebration of freedom. Painting this with acrylics let me weave together history, whimsy, and rich colors in a way that feels like an invitation to join the party at the table.
