This design uses the lyrebird—nature’s most accomplished mimic—as a metaphor for modern replication, surveillance, and constructed reality. Surrounded by icon-like panels representing media, technology, infrastructure, and power, the bird stands calmly at the center, observing and absorbing everything around it. The visual language echoes fan displays and data arrays, reinforcing the idea that imitation has evolved into something far more consequential. The accompanying line points toward a deeper unease: when mimicry becomes indistinguishable from reality, intention matters more than accuracy. This piece isn’t about sound alone, but about systems that learn, repeat, and eventually reshape the truth they echo.
