❤️🦅🎆❤️This black, square button for the American patriot has a majestic bald eagle flying with the American flag in its talons as fireworks explode behind it. The fireworks represent the wars fought for our freedom, specifically the Battle of Baltimore (Maryland), where Francis Scott Key observed the invasion of and death and destruction caused by the British Royal Navy at Fort McHenry in the War of 1812. As to what research states, Americans fought land and sea invasions for 25 hours and became victorious!! In the light of the explosions, or the light of the dawn, Francis Scott Key saw the large American flag (then with 15 stars and stripes so far) still flying gloriously above the fort. The Star-Spangled Banner song was originally a poem written by Mr. Key titled: "Defence of Fort M'Henry", and perhaps like a smack in the face to the Brits, was later set to the music of a popular British song. For the vision the lyrics evoke, a quote from the Star-Spangled Banner has been appropriately added to this eagle, flag, and fireworks design in red, white, and blue letters.
