Resident Dragon is a cartoon universe created in 2024 by South Australian artist, animator, writer, and cartoonist, David Arandle (TET). This calendar features the first 13 (including the front cover) completely drawn and digitally inked cartoons created in the square, single joke format, in the order they were created. The cast began with TET (an avatar of the artist), Red the Fire Dragon, Cool Froyd the Cat, and Grrr Dog. The four characters were brought together from completely different artworks and projects with the concept that Red is a former actor in one of TET's productions, whose cave was acquired to make way for a freeway, so Red sought out TET and asked if he could move into his house in the suburbs... hence, Resident Dragon.
