Attack of the Squirrel Crab Monsters: I've been working on creating humorous vintage horror movie posters for a while, but with squirrels as the unexpected villains or monsters. Why squirrels? I wanted a critter that would be the last thing anyone would expect to be a threat. After some pondering, I landed on squirrels - because let’s be honest, cute little kittens as villains would just be too obvious! Inspired by classic B-grade horror and sci-fi films of the 1950s and 60s, this poster unleashes a gloriously absurd creature feature where surf, screams and squirrel-crabs collide. Bold, dramatic and delightfully over-the-top, it captures the theatrical flair of vintage drive-in monster movies - with a distinctly nutty twist.
