This original still life picture was painted in soft pastel, the bright shades and hues that can be found in soft pastel really bring out the amazing colours of this delicious serving of mixed vegetables. I came to produce this painting of red and green peppers, carrots, courgettes and other veg on a chopping board as a tongue in cheek alternative to the typical still life painting of a “bowl of fruit” which I was asked to paint as part of an art course I was working on, I named the painting “Not A Bowl Of Fruit.” This great original art poster will look very impressive hung anywhere but even more so on a dinning room or kitchen wall, they'd also make an unusual gift for someone special or perhaps you just want to treat yourself to an unusual and original art poster.
