The Empress tarot card ポスター

The Empress embodies the female energy in nature and so I used a Queen Bee as her archetype. She has some similarities to the priestess but is more the mother rather than the virgin aspect of the female energy. She's royal in nature and is sitting in a throne room that dissolves into the eternity of space at the top in a reference to Nuit, the Egyptian goddess. Her drones are busy making the honey and she sits with her honey wand ruling the world from the plush throne of a rose. The checkerboard pattern represents the matrix of this reality and how the mother creates matter within it.
