Sandra Paulsen, Ph.D. updates, revises and synthesizes her prior works into an integrated series of modules that addresses the most challenging aspects of being an EMDR Therapist – working with several kinds of complex trauma and dissociation. Consistent with the eight phases of EMDR and Adaptive Information Processing Theory, the workshop series assumes the clinician has learned the basic EMDR protocol and will benefit from decision-making and treatment of complex cases. The clinical decision process and course is illustrated with a graphic aid of a hypothetical board game called "Traumaland," reminiscent of a familiar board game with a similar title.
