20” x 16” jigsaw puzzle with a vintage image of an ad run by Cannon Mills for their Cannon towels. This ad shows several strong and handsome soldiers recreating unclothed on a river lined with tropical vegetation. The text reads, “Army Day—Crocodiles Keep Out!” Cannon Towels ran these ads in WWII which were based on actual letters they received from the boys in the field about their products. The art was done by prolific artist James Bingham which shows off his excellent skills. The art is as such to tantalize the ad's audience, women, so what's better then a bunch of scantily clad soldiers, sailors, marines and airmen for all those lonely ladies back home?
