Vintage Louis Wain Cats Christmas Party Poster ポスター

This gorgeous festive themed vintage cat poster by famous English feline artist Louis Wain (1860-1939) is called 'Every Dog Has His Day and Every Cat Her Two Afternoons.' The illustration features what looks like a Christmas office party at a local restaurant. A sign on the wall reads 'Merry Christmas to All our Patrons' and underneath are six hungry feline customers waiting for dessert to be served. The cat chef is delivering the piece de resistance, the Christmas pudding, to the hungry clientele. The waiter is looking on anxiously. The cat at the top of the table - he looks like the boss - has his tongue hanging out lasciviously. Who knows what will happen next ... ?
