The Violet-backed Starling, also known as Amethyst Starling and the Plum-colored Starling is so beautiful I thought it deserved a place in my wall art category. Although the population is decreasing, as with most species, it is not considered endangered as it is a successful breeder. These birds live in Africa and inhabit forests and savanna woodlands and they eat fruits, seeds and insects.
