This painting of Boat Bumpers by Manie artist Dominic White provides an everyday image of Portland, Maine’s working waterfront. Hanging from faded white, orange, and blue ropes on a weathered sun-bleached pylon, the bumpers reflect the watery sunlight shining through misty clouds.
