Women’s Defend Democracy T-Shirt, V2 Tシャツ

Not long ago, I heard an NPR series about those who fought in World War II. It reminded me that we’ve been depending on (and perhaps, taking for granted) their sacrifices ever since. It occurred to me then that we are now in another war - a Cold War here at home - and that it’s Our Turn to defend democracy. I often think, “What can I do to prevent our country’s collapse into oligarchy and autocracy?” I go to protests, use the 5-Calls app to contact my representatives, write postcards to voters, try to get friends and family to join me, but am always left with the realization that I want more people to understand the danger and get involved. I designed this t-shirt as an effort in that direction. I try to wear it to the grocery store, the dentist, a concert - basically whenever I’m out in public. My hope is that this will help inspire others to act. Now this shirt is available for anyone else who would like to help spread the word.
