Alphonse Mucha, Fruit (1897) Art Nouveau

Designs inspired by FRUIT (1897) by famous Art Nouveau artist Alphonse Mucha. Mucha's picture shows a lovely young woman who is carrying a lot of fruit, including pears, apples and grapes. Her hair is beautifully decorated with flower petals. She is holding the fruit carefully, but a large row of grapes is slipping down the side of her arm. Fruit are also common symbols of abundance, of health and prosperity, of the good life. This symbolism was important for my recent designs (April 2021), a birthday card and a business card, the latter especially for gourmet caterers.
