Altamont Speedway Free Concert 50th Anniversary

December 6, 2019 marks the 50th anniversary of a world-famous free music concert held in the eastern San Francisco Bay Area. On December 6, 1969 an estimated 300,000 people gathered at the Altamont Speedway in Alameda County for an all-day music festival.
