Contemporary Realism / New Topographics

Contemporary realism is an art movement that emerged in the late 1960s and early 1970s. It emphasizes skillful representation of the real world, often with a focus on everyday subjects and scenes. This for me include the American Topographics or New Topographics in the American styles such as Lewis Baltz and Stephen Shore.
