Dia de los Muertos

Dia de los Muertos, or Day of the Dead is a traditional Mexican holiday celebrated on November 1st and 2nd. Family and friends gather together to remember loved ones who have died. They build beautiful altars and decorate them with candles, flowers, traditional food, sugar skulls and folk art. Women and children often wear flowers, especially marigolds, in their hair and paint their faces to look like a skull.
