Folk Art

This is a collection of my pen and ink drawings. The pigment ink is applied much like using watercolour paints. This gives a bright and transparent look so that the small details and lines of the black ink can still be seen. I try to keep them as handmade as possible using Photoshop only to remove the background paper but keep the painterly quality of the original piece. I enjoy painting Folk Art and especially birds and flowers since moving to Australia.
