Mask Series: These series of pieces explore the masks Black men wear in society in relation to their masculinity. I used a number of inspirations spanning from a number of African mask traditions and a number of iconography ranging from different cultures. I interviewed friends of mine to draw out certain words or concepts to illustrate from. Each piece uses a similar but diverse number of collaged items.
