Leighton A girl with a basket of fruit

Frederic Leighton (1830 – 1896) was an English painter and sculptor, mainly interested in historical, biblical and classical subjects. Eucharis, or A girl with a basket of fruit (c. 1863), is one of my favorite paintings. It is beautiful and harmonious, with warm yellow and orange color shades.
