Lower Taxes For Seniors

Senior citizens deserve a better deal in retirement. As it is, Social Security doesn’t really pay enough to cover the cost of living. On top of that, it’s doubly taxed. You pay taxes when you earn the income and contribute it to the Social Security System. You can easily pay tax again on all or part of your Social Security benefit when you retire. This just isn’t right. Eliminate the taxes of Social Security benefits and boost the Social Security benefit payments to be more in line with today’s cost of living.
