Designs inspired by a light and delicate depiction of a water lily (Nymphaea alba). The original picture is by French Art Nouveau artist Maurice Pillard Verneuil. It can be found in an old book about ornamental practises (Plate 7, La plante et ses applications ornementales, 1896).
