Pierre-Joseph Redouté

Pierre-Joseph Redouté (1759 – 1840) was a Belgian painter and botanist, known for his watercolors of roses, lilies and other flowers. He was nicknamed "the Raphael of flowers" and has been called the greatest botanical illustrator of all time.
