Poems by a Spirit
These poems are said to be by a spirit named Patience Worth who contacted Pearl Curran through a Ouija board. Pearl, a St. Louis housewife who dropped out of high school during her first year, claimed she took dictation from Patience and produced award-winning literature. Patience is said to have lived in the 15th century. She was born in England, moved to the U.S. and was killed by native Indians.
