Ponce de Leon’s Fountain of Youth

On Saturday May 30th 2026 around 1:20 pm we found this hidden gem located at 11 Magnolia Avenue, St. Augustine, FL 32084. St. Johns County, Florida just north of downtown. Ponce de Leon’s Fountain of Youth Archaeological Park is a 15-acre historic waterfront attraction in St. Augustine, Florida. The nation’s oldest city, marks the legendary site where Juan Ponce de León landed in 1513 and where Pedro Menéndez de Avilés established the first permanent European settlement in 1565. Visitors drink from the famous spring in the Spring House, explore Timucua Indian exhibits, watch Spanish cannon firings, see free-roaming peacocks, visit the planetarium and Discovery Globe, climb the observation tower for river views, and walk through lush Old Florida gardens and archaeological sites overlooking the Matanzas River.
