Posters: Samurai Bushido Code Japanese Kanji

Bushido is the term in Japanese for the way of the warrior, the code of moral principles that samurai lived by. It's made up of seven or sometimes eight principles that are cited as part of this creed. Each principle is represented by one or two kanji characters. Brush artist Hiro created an artwork featuring each principle in his Kyoto studio, and we've designed a separate poster for each precept. We also feature this calligraphy on other items. We join Hiro in hoping that you'll find something that brings Kyoto and the samurai spirit closer to you!
