Redouté, Bouquet of flowers

Collection inspired by a beautiful flower bouquet by Pierre-Joseph Redouté (Rosa centifolia, anemone, and clematis). Pierre-Joseph Redouté (1759 – 1840) was a painter and botanist from Belgium, known for his watercolors of roses, lilies and other flowers. He was nicknamed "the Raphael of flowers" and has also been called the greatest botanical illustrator of all time. Unlike others he worked from live plants rather than herbarium specimens, which contributed to his fresh, subtle renderings. In the collection you'll find, for example, greeting cards for Mother's and Father's Day, a gift tag, and a couple of birthday postcards.
