Starfish Designs

Starfish are a very popular motif in coastal and beach decor. It is understandable! Starfish are beautiful and prove that not all stars belong to the sky! But just like the shells, if you buy starfish (products) in stores, they are commercially harvested alive for decor purposes. That just doesn't feel good, doesn't it? I was lucky enough to find the orange sugar starfish washed up on the beach, but I am guilty of buying the white finger starfish that you see in my designs. It is the only starfish I ever purchased. Twinkle, twinkle little starfish. Enjoy!
