Trail of Tears "Shadow of the Owl"

In the winter of 1838-39 the cruelty of the Trail of Tears was forced on the Cherokee People. Forced to walk more than 850 miles a full quarter of the Cherokee Nation, over 4000 people died in the freezing cold.
