This work like many of his others was inspired by the beauty of nature. The circular backdrop features a shell pattern forming an arch above the lone woman. Autumn colors browns, yellows and orange and falling leaves blow in the wind drawing your eyes to the lovely woman. She seductively glances back over her shoulder, while her orange dress and long auburn hair blow in the breeze. Czech artist Alfons Maria Mucha (known in English and French as Alphonse Mucha), is best known for his distinctive Art Nouveau (Modern) artistic style. Mucha (1860-1939), is fondly remembered for his advertisements, paintings, illustrations, theater sets, home furnishings and jewelry designs.
