Avocado skins and pits are one of my favorite natural (and solar) dyeing pigments. It takes MONTHS! I have about 20 shades of crochet thread now! I'm trying to crochet a heart amigurumi in each color, and they are turning out so adorable, I couldn't wait to begin photographing them! The background for this photo is my avocado-pit-dyed dress. This is a truly one-of-a-kind valentine no one else has taken the time to create.
