Blood supply of the brain Poster ポスター

The brain receives blood from the internal carotid arteries and the vertebral arteries. The internal carotid arteries branch to form the anterior and middle cerebral arteries. The two vertebral arteries join at the level of the pons on the ventral surface of the brainstem to form the basilar artery. The basilar artery and the internal carotids form an arterial circle at the base of the brain called the circle of Willis. This also includes posterior cerebral arteries and two small bridging arteries, the anterior and posterior communicating arteries. Scientifically accurate.
