Painterly Hanafuda × Wagara Cat Design カレンダー

A painterly calendar created by a Japanese designer, featuring cats and seasonal Hanafuda flower motifs paired with traditional Japanese patterns. Each month showcases a different classic wagara (such as asanoha, shippo, yagasuri, kiku, and chidori-goshi) as the background, rendered in a 19th-century oil painting style. Soft, muted tones of deep navy, antique cream, and dusty teal create an elegant, sophisticated look that works beautifully as wall art. Enjoy the changing seasons through Hanafuda motifs—pine, plum, cherry blossom, wisteria, iris, peony, bush clover, susuki grass, chrysanthemum, maple, willow, and paulownia—alongside the calm, gentle expressions of the cats. Perfect as a gift or for yourself.
