Saint Emilia, born in the 4th century in Caesarea, Cappadocia (modern day Turkey) was an Orthodox Christian, mother to several children, including several saints, and is therefore known as the "Mother of Saints". She was the mother of Saint Basil the Great and Saint Gregory of Nyssa, among others, and in her later years, she established a convent with her daughter, Macrina.
