When my 3 beautiful smart and talented babies were young, we played a lot of games. They were always making up house rules and of course we thought it was the best time in the world. Since I have a tendency to always think outside the box and decided to start making board games with the kids to incorporate their house rules. 1st game we ever worked on was Monkey Poker. the kids were fascinated by poker fueled by my endless watching of it. This is right around the time Chris Moneymaker made poker a must watch on ESPN. Any way we decided to actually print our version of monkey poker and over the years perfected it and even mass produced 500 copies. We sold all of them and went on to produce 14 more board games. Monster monkeys, Ninja Monkeys, Monkey winks, 25000 monkeys, Zombie Monkeys from Planet Boojabaunga just to name a few. So, as you can see a pattern had formed, we had taken my kids love for games and monkeys and built a small boardgame company and when it came to naming it 3 Monkey games was the natural choice. All of our 17 board games, 20 Mobile games and 15 online games are centered around our 3 monkeys. Berry: who is just like my oldest daughter. Smart in charge and as adorable as a kitten. Al: Big but heart of gold just like my oldest son. Freddy: Youngest son, bright, funny and a bit of a smart butt. All of the games we produce are rooted in things that have happened in our lives or experiences my kids had. Zombie monkeys from planet Boojabaunga for instance started when my youngest coined the phrase boojabaunga. A big theme in our games is the monkey searching for the sword of boojabaunga and we are currently working on a interactive comic book that tells that story. All of our ideas and games needed a home and a way to seamlessly showcase them. so we developed Monkeyopolis We have also developed some really cool emojis (emokis) for our new games and decided the best way to show case them was through swag. So here we are!
