ATHAN PHYNIX is an Artist & a self defined Absurdist..he constantly changes what that means.because he refuses to bend to societal norms or common sense.... He currently is an actor in Independent short and full length films & is working at his hand in directing projects that he is co-writing & improvising with friends/colleagues. He has performed at Rhode Island College, Twin River Casino, Comedy Connection, and other venues throughout the country. He considers his style of performing to be both that of an Absurdist and also an Improvisational Performer. His definition of Absurdist being "one who dabbles in inventing ideas and telling stories that appear absurd to the outsider but that may or may not make perfect sense to the one telling the story."
