Tala's Reflections

Eclectic, often dysfunctional (what artist isn't), & trying to start life over after 40. Almost anything can either overcome you, or you can overcome it. You just have to want it bad enough. I'm very traditional about my culture, and very careful with the elements in my artwork for that reason. I consider everything from stories to the meanings of specific colors when I draw. I work from my heart and primarily focus on original designs. When I include historical Native elements, they're still personalized rather than copied. I had an original piece of art with the Cherokee Nation seal (done accurately!) but someone complained and it was removed, so I'm sorry that I can no longer offer it. All photography is original work as well. My other focus is on awareness for Lupus, Fibromyalgia, and related autoimmune inflammatory diseases.
