Hello and Bonjour! We are Michael Flanagan and Perle Carneva and we are the founders of À Vol d'Oiseau. À Vol d'Oiseau is a French expression that means "As the bird flies". It represents the distance and differences that separates the two founders both physically and culturally. Michael is a mechanical engineer born and raised for most of his life in Southern California. Perle, born and raised in the south of France, is a student in International trade with specializations in English and Japanese.
