Artistic_Potholes

Port Townsend is an artists' town; we have art galleries and many artists here. I am a mixed media artist, but I also take photos constantly: I walk every day with my phone camera in hand! I love nature, but I also love the unusual: odd rusty objects, closeups, odd angles, and I find beauty in unusual objects and places. Port Townsend has old, worn, and poorly built streets just chock full of potholes! We also have rain, trees, and flowers that end up in potholes. The results can be quite lovely. And sometimes I can transform the drab or the dull into a surprising beauty using my computer. Some potholes are already dressed in leaves or reflections and are photo ready. Others may need a little digital magic to be appealing! Here you find "straight up" photos and also images I have digitally manipulated using a bit of magical pixel dust! Enjoy!
