Welcome to Artistrophix, the Lost Sheep zone. The phrase “Lost Sheep” may have negative connotations at first glance. But I feel that lost sheep are those that wander away from the flock of sheep that follow the master blindly. The lost sheep wander away from the master and start to see a world that is different from the status quo with its rules and systems and little boxes where everything fits perfectly. We the lost sheep are introspective. We redefine things. We are stumbling upon new horizons as we wander the plains on our way to becoming shepherds of a new way of being. Please be advised that we are not divine gurus who have it all figured out. Like the next struggler, we are lost sheep just trying to find our way home. So, as potent as our mission is, we disguise our relatable social commentaries and calls to action as satire and humor, which are delivered in the form of plain and simple yet bold and fun illustrations and caricature – because sometimes it’s more worthwhile to laugh at ourselves than cry. Like the next struggler, we are Lost Sheep just trying to find our way “home” or that great enlightenment. We are looking to build a community of Lost Sheep, or at any rate like-minded kindred.
