I created this store as a way to create fun items to wear and use proudly while spreading awareness for CDKL5. My daughter, Aubree, was diagnosed in 2014 with CDKL5. It is a rare, X-linked neurodevelopmental disorder. It is characterized by early-onset, very difficult to control seizures, profound global developmental delays, and many other health concerns for which we deal with every single day. A percentage of each sale from this shop goes towards helping with the financial challenges that come along with having a child with special needs. Even with double insurance coverage, there are MANY large out-of-pocket expenses that are necessary and not covered by insurance.
