AUTEMS is an idea born of passion and experience. It exists to make emergencies safer for people with autism. I don’t have fundraisers, sponsors, or big backing. I’m not a company — I’m someone who understands how easily misunderstandings can become dangerous when communication breaks down. The AUTEMS logo is a simple symbol of awareness. It’s meant to help emergency responders recognize that someone may be autistic, so they can respond to the situation appropriately, just as they would if they saw a sign that reads 'oxygen in use'.
